Can't afford a media card for storage? If you don't already have a media card or you already have one but need more storage? Then this is the post for you!
For those who don't know about storage/mini-sd... you might have missed my previous post on it.. check out: Need more storage on your BB Pearl?
Storage is important these days, specially when considering the very limited and small onboard space available on the BlackBerry Pearl, users will definitely need more when saving images/music/video. Luckily Cortado Connect has teamed with box.net to offer 1GB of online storage for BIS Blackberry users. With a few simple steps you can be on your way to saving your data (all sorts of music, photos, documents and other files) with up to 1GB of storage. This is a great option for those wanting to keep their Pearl clean and clutter free (with or without an additional media card). Don't miss out on this freebie. Simply follow these steps to get started right away.
STEP 1 Set up a free Box.net account. If you already have a Box.net account, set up a Box.net account with 1 GB of free online storage first. Signup for Box.net account here.
STEP 2 Download the Cortado Client and install it on your BlackBerry. After the installation, you will find the application “Cortado Connect” in the main menu of your BlackBerry. Download Cortado Client here.
STEP 3 Access your Box.net directory. Select “Cortado Connect” in the main menu of your BlackBerry and you will see a list of available drives including your Box.net directory under “Online Drives“. The first time you open the box.net directory, you will be asked for your box.net username and password. After the Cortado Client successfully connects to your box.net account, you will see your files and directories.
STEP 4 Manage files. After selecting a file, either on the memory card or in your Box.net directory, you have the following options: - OPEN - CUT - COPY & PASTE - SORT - RENAME - DELETE |
