Instant Access to your BlackBerry Voicemail... in seconds!

Reaching your voicemail and typing in a bunch of numbers to retrieve your messages can be a pain!... Specially when you lead the type of lifestyles where you receive a lot of calls/voicemails.

With a few simple steps, you can eliminate annoying time spent reaching your voicemail constantly with your password. Follow these steps:

1) Hit the Red button (Phone End/Power) a few times to return to Home Screen.

2) Then press the Green button (Phone)

3) Press the Menu button (BlackBerry) and scroll to select "Options"

4) Once you reached the Phone Options, scroll and select "Voice Mail"

5) Now you are at the Voice Mail configurations. You should see 2 fields: One being the "Access Number" and the second being "Password". Ensure that the "Access Number" is filled in with your accurate phone number (with the area code).

6) Now scroll to the next line which is the Password field. Before you type in your password, you must add a pause (so that when the phone calls the voicemail it doesn't type in your password while its still ringing which will require you to type your password in again so to avoid that step this pause is necessary). To add a pause, press the Menu Key (BlackBerry) and scroll to select "Add Pause". You'll know if you did it correctly if you see a P appear. After that type in your password and make sure you end it with a "#". For example if you password was 123456 it should look like this--> Password: P123456#.

7) Finally press the Menu Key (BlackBerry) again and select "Save". Voila!

With these simple steps... you can reach your voicemail within less than a few seconds! Now to test out your voicemail shortcut, simply return to the HomeScreen and press the 1 key (alos the ER key) for a few seconds and you'll hear the voicemail dialing out along with a pause and your password.

NOTE: Please note that this setup is not recommended to someone sharing a phone or perhaps leaves the phone in a public area where people can easily access the voicemail - since when you press the voicemail key it automatically dials the password for you.
